FINTRAC’s examination process has been entirely revamped. Gone are the days when getting the right occupation for a client was their biggest focus. They’re now digging deep into risk and transactions, and proposing their own which ought to have been reported, and those for which they believe the reporting entity was willfully blind. Penalties are again a real possibility. Learn about their new guidance and operating procedures, learn about planning to prepare, and how to deal with FINTRAC on-site.
